Owner of "Loud and Clear" Colluded with Former Intelligence Chief Against President Anura Kumara Dissanayake

Investigations by Sri Lankan intelligence agencies have unearthed startling revelations following the arrest of Mr.Suresh Salley, the former head of the State Intelligence Service (SIS). Salley, who was detained in connection with the Easter Sunday bombings allegedly orchestrated to facilitate Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s rise to power, has become the center of a widening probe. Authorities have scrutinized his mobile communications, email records, and personal contacts, uncovering a deep-rooted conspiracy involving international actors and local political figures.

The investigation reveals a clandestine plot designed to derail Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s momentum during the 2024 General Elections. As polling data indicated a surge in support for Anura, the "Mahinda Brothers" allegedly utilized Suresh Salley to orchestrate a strategy to fracture his vote bank. Evidence suggests that the prominent mobile corporation, Leyka, was leveraged as a vehicle for these operations, highlighting a sophisticated attempt to manipulate the democratic process through corporate and intelligence channels.

Central to this interference was a Chennai-based organization titled "Loud and Clear." Reports indicate that the owner of this firm, along with a team of 25 individuals, arrived in Colombo and remained stationed there for two months. Their primary objective was to execute a nuanced campaign to attack Anura’s credibility and scatter his voters. Despite receiving millions in funding for strategic planning and election advertising—services they claim to provide to various political parties in Chennai—the group ultimately failed to influence the election outcome due to a lack of local expertise.

The Sri Lankan government has now intensified its inquiry into these activities, noting that engaging in political subversion while on a tourist visa constitutes a severe criminal offense under national law. Sri Lankan intelligence is reportedly preparing to coordinate with the Chennai Q Branch Police to gather further intelligence on the "Loud and Clear" operatives. Despite these multi-layered conspiracies and strategic maneuvers, Anura’s party secured a historic landslide victory in 2024, and the current administration is now committed to holding all conspirators accountable.
